Find out…your real age with Telomere length test

What is Telomere? How does it work and affect the body?

Chromosomes are the genetic code (DNA) that determine the function of cells in the body. If the cells are not working properly, it may be caused by an abnormal genetic code. Telomeres are the ends of the chromosomes that protect the genes within the chromosome from being damaged or shortened. It also states how many times a cell can divide, in the other words, how long it will live. Telomere shortening indicates cell deterioration, aging and the likelihood of degenerative diseases affecting the quality of life. Nonetheless, this can be prevented by modifying our lifestyle habits.

Find out the cell age from your telomeres for proper health care planning

With today’s standard technology, telomere length can be examined from blood tests for the purpose of disease prevention. The in-depth examination at the cellular and chromosome levels will reveal the age of biological cells and the state of premature cellular or physical degeneration. It not only shows how appropriate our lifestyles are, but also provides useful information to the medical team in providing proper advice, personal care and prevention according to the cell age.  In fact, it aims to improve the quality of life to be free from diseases and deterioration, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease and heart disease, osteoporosis, degenerative arthritis, inflammation, dementia, etc.
